Coaxial Surge Protector N Female to N Female, DC to 3 GHz

The 106-PCM-SP-DC3.N2N2 is a coaxial lightning arrester designed to protect 50 Ω RF systems operating from DC up to 3 GHz. Fitted with N-female connectors at both ends, it diverts high-energy surges—such as those caused by lightning strikes—into a grounded terminal without significantly affecting signal integrity. With under 0.3 dB insertion loss at its upper frequency limit and a VSWR below 1.2:1, it preserves link performance in cellular base stations, point-to-point microwave radios and broadcast transmitters.

This model comes ready to fit either through a panel (bulkhead mount) or as an inline, free-hanging device, offering flexibility for outdoor cabinets or on-tower installations. The nickel-plated brass body, gold-plated centre pin and IP67 rating ensure long service life across –55 °C to +155 °C, while a discharge rating up to 20 kA (8/20 μs) makes it suitable for harsh environments where dependable surge suppression is critical.
