Cel-Fi G41 Town & Country Pack - Wideband LPDA Antenna
We've put together the best components in the business to design a repeater kit for boosting 4G coverage in both town and country areas. This kit is for Telstra & Optus networks, but thanks to Vodafone now sharing Optus in regional areas you'll be able to use it on that too (one network at a time).
This is how it works - antenna on the roof, cable runs down into the house (choose your length), screw the cable and paddle antenna onto the repeater, set the network you want to boost, and you're done. Turns any weak ~1 bar connection into a full strength signal throughout an ordinary sized house. Easy as that.
Just tell us where you're planning to install it and we'll tell you where to point the antenna (we've mapped the entire country's towers). If you're on Vodafone we'll double check this is the right repeater for your location while we're at it.

When to use this booster kit
We've called this the Town and Country 4G Pack because it works just about anywhere - whether you're in town, hilly areas, or flat and far away from the tower. It doesn't care - just feed it at least 1 bar of signal and it'll work its magic.
The technical reason is the kit uses a decent sized (1.3 metre) LPDA antenna which gives it strong gain to pick up weak signal, and the "Log Periodic Dipole Array" design allows it to work across all frequencies used in Australia, no matter where you are. The antenna gets mounted on your roof - if you've got space on your TV aerial mast great, if not, we've got some for sale here.
Because it's got a wide receiving beam you don't need to be an expert, get it roughly in the direction we tell you and you'll be up running. If that sounds difficult (or your wife has banned you from ladders) we can arrange installation for you, either ourselves or one of the many talented partners we have across the country. Your local sparky or TV aerial bloke should also be able to install the kit for you.
As for the bits and pieces, we're using high performance cables with weatherproof connectors, and a special indoor antenna hand-picked to thunder out 4G signal. This is a Certified kit.
Needs
- Your mobile network is Telstra, Optus, or one of their many resellers (Belong, Aldi Mobile, etc.)
- At least 1 bar of 4G signal on the network you want to boost
- You're staying in one spot - antenna needs to be aimed in the general direction of the tower
- You can put it near a 240V electrical outlet (normal household wall socket)
What about 5G?
I could write about this topic all day. Your voice, text, and ordinary mobile data still go through the 4G network. Because 5G will use up your phone's battery, it's only activated for short bursts when you're doing something that demands a lot of speed. Providing a 4G connection is essential before worrying about 5G.
The G41 repeater supports 5G on its frequency bands! Right now though it's not an easy yes-no answer, it's enabled on some bands, with approvals underway for others. If you need more info on this we can look into your area for you.
