Cel-Fi G41 Outback 4G Booster Pack - Low Band XRange Grid Antenna
This kit has been put together for when your 4G signal is so weak it should be ashamed of itself. We mean it, this 4G booster kit is for those who have to stand on one leg holding their phone in the air, or standing in The Spot™ on their driveway and praying to the signal gods.
Help is on the way.
This kit uses a special design of roof mounted antenna that has a large parabolic grid to collect and focus the weakest of weak signals. The Low-Band XRange Grid doesn't waste any energy trying to tune into metropolitan "CBD" frequencies. If you're in the bush or outback, the only frequencies around are going to be the low bands, so we've custom built a kit exactly for that.
The repeater works for all three networks (Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone), but we're happy to check whether this kit is right for your location and we'll tell you where to aim the antenna while we're at it.
When to use this 4G booster kit
We called this kit the Outback Pack because it's for the tough areas. It has the highest performing antenna that we've come across - high gain, high discrimination, low VSWR, and excellent radiated efficiency. The proof is in the pudding though, it works where other antennas can't.
While it's best in open environments, it has a well balanced beam that recombines signal scattering from hills and trees. If you're unsure, we can search your address in our system and we'll be able to tell straight away if the kit will work or not.
Needs
- Your mobile network is Telstra, Optus, or one of their many resellers (Belong, Aldi Mobile, etc.)
- You're able to pick up a tiny bit of 4G signal if you stand on one leg and cross your fingers
- Antenna needs to be aimed at the tower (reasonably accurately)
- Booster can be placed inside near a 240V outlet (ordinary household wall socket)
5G Compatibility
The Cel-Fi G41 repeater supports 5G on its frequency bands. 4G is and will remain the main service for voice, text, and ordinary mobile data for years to come. 5G is rolling out to regional areas on the 850 MHz band for Telstra, 700+900 MHz for Optus and Vodafone, which this kit fully supports. Right now there's a couple of points to be aware of - while everything in the kit supports Rural 5G it's up to each mobile network operator to give each frequency the green light. Some bands are already enabled, some are still going through the approval process.
