Shipping & Returns Policy

This policy explains how we deliver products, manage returns and resolve problems with goods purchased from Certified Communications Pty Ltd ("Certified Communications", "we", "us", "our"). It should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. Shipping and Delivery

We deliver throughout Australia using Australia Post and other suitable freight and courier providers.

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the items ordered and delivery location. We aim to dispatch stocked items within 1–3 business days after payment is confirmed. Supplier-direct and special-order items may take longer.

Delivery timeframes are estimates and depend on stock availability, destination and the carrier. Tracking details will be provided where available. If an order is significantly delayed or an item becomes unavailable, we will contact you to discuss the available options, including cancellation or a refund where required by law.

2. Incorrect, Missing or Damaged Deliveries

Please check your delivery when it arrives and contact us as soon as reasonably possible if a product is damaged, missing or incorrect. Include your order number and, where available, photographs of the product and packaging.

We will investigate and arrange an appropriate resolution. Reporting an issue promptly helps us make a freight claim, but there is no fixed reporting deadline that removes your statutory consumer rights.

3. Change-of-Mind Returns

We do not generally accept change-of-mind returns, including where an item is no longer required or was ordered incorrectly, unless we agree otherwise. This does not affect your rights if goods fail to meet a consumer guarantee.

We may approve an exceptional return in writing before the item is sent back. If approved, the item must be unused, unopened, undamaged, in its original sealed packaging and suitable for resale, with all supplied accessories and documentation. Return freight is the customer’s responsibility and any restocking fee will be disclosed and agreed before the return is accepted.

Opened, installed or used products are not eligible for discretionary change-of-mind returns. These conditions do not apply to returns required by law.

4. Faulty Products and Consumer Guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

If you believe an item is faulty, contact us with proof of purchase and a description of the problem. We may ask for photographs or arrange an assessment. Original packaging is not required for a return involving a failure to meet a consumer guarantee.

Where a problem is confirmed, we will provide the remedy required by law. We will reimburse reasonable return costs where required, or arrange collection of large, heavy or difficult-to-remove faulty goods where the law requires us to do so.

5. Product Compatibility and Installation

Some telecommunications products require compatible equipment, professional installation, configuration or authorisation from a carrier or other relevant party. If you are unsure which product suits your application, contact us before ordering.

Customers should consider product specifications and installation requirements when selecting equipment. This does not limit any guarantee that applies where you have relied on our advice or made a particular purpose known to us.

6. Manufacturer Warranties

Some products include a manufacturer’s warranty. These warranties vary by product and operate in addition to your ACL rights. If an item purchased from us has a problem, contact Certified Communications and we will assist with the appropriate process.

7. Refunds

Approved refunds and refunds required by law will be processed within a reasonable time, normally to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. Your payment provider may require additional time to make the funds available.

8. Returns and Contact

Contact us before sending a product back so we can provide the correct return instructions and address. Please include your order number, contact details and a description of the issue.
