RFI 113-CDX8197-B is a bullbar-mounted cellular antenna designed to lift 4G and 5G performance for vehicle modems and routers, particularly when you’re operating on the edge of coverage. By concentrating reception and transmission in the horizontal plane, it helps maintain more usable signal and steadier data rates in regional and remote areas, making it a common choice for 4WD touring, field service fleets, utilities, mining, agriculture, and other mobile crews that rely on connectivity away from towns.

It uses a removable whip and heavy-duty spring base to suit harsh, high‑vibration installs and to make it easier to deal with low-clearance situations like car parks or wash bays. The CDX‑XTREME range includes different gain profiles, letting you choose between broader coverage patterns for mixed terrain and higher gain options aimed at flatter, open-country runs where maximum reach is the priority.
